Whenever you get a chance to be part of hirsute history, you grab it with both hands, just like Grant Hackett on a plane with a skin full.
As part of their Farewell Tour, much loved champions of the facially follicled, The Beards graced a Western Sydney faithful with one last performance before signing off, saying sayonara, selling the farm, riding off into the sunset...
We set out to make that send off their biggest yet by organising some posters to be pasted up around Western Sydney targeting Penrith, Windsor, Richmond, Rouse Hill, Blacktown, Parramatta and Castle Hill. We also arranged some peer-to-peer activity, got the good folks at the Penrith Press, The Western Weekender and The Brag to chat with the band and write about it.
We also took to the digital realm and snagged secret access to your computers (stalking) with strategically targeted social media ads (marketing). The boys were gracious enough to help us undertake a user generated competition to win a once in a lifetime experience to meet the band and be taken through a grooming master class. We received a multitude of bearded men (and women!) showing us their pics and seriously increasing our reach.

And remember, if your dad doesn't have a beard you've got two mums!
